Experience:
Joaquim has been practicing business law for over 35 years. With extensive experience in both preventive counseling and litigation, Joaquim has been advising clients in a number of different areas, such as strategic litigation and arbitration in corporate cases, representing, in particular, the interests of energy companies, shopping center developers, and minority shareholders; corporate transactions in general; M&A transactions, comprising legal advice to private equity funds; and commercial contracts in general. Joaquim is also frequently asked to issue legal opinions on Brazilian Law matters.
He is in the roster of recommended arbitrators of several of the main Brazilian arbitration chambers.
