Experience:
Daniela has been practicing business law for over 30 years. With extensive experience in both preventive counseling and litigation, Daniela has been advising clients in several different areas of law, such as M&A transactions, commercial contracts, digital law and data protection, intellectual property, and mining.
Daniela has recently assisted an international mining group in a M&A transaction for the sale of two mining companies with integrated operation and US$146 million EBITDA for the prior fiscal year, in a transaction of US$1.5 billion, as well as in corporate and contractual matters pertaining to its shareholding in a joint venture created to operate a private port terminal in the State of Rio de Janeiro, including the renegotiation of shareholders’ agreements and of several highly-sophisticated commercial contracts related to the construction, operation, and shared use of the port facilities.
Daniela has been representing the interests of a European group in claims, with international ramifications, brought by Russian state-owned companies for the ownership of a renowned vodka brand, which is one of the main intellectual property litigation cases currently in course in Brazil.
